- Consult with your Custom Blinds’ Designer to determine which windows are power-ready
- Our team will contact your electrician to discuss project details
- Our team will follow up to ensure wiring is complete
Finishing Phase
- Finalize window covering selections with your Custom Blinds’ Designer
- Process your 75% deposit, or ask about 0% financing from Custom Blinds
- Schedule precise, on-site measurement
- Order your Hunter Douglas shadings
Installation
- Schedule install date
- At installation, PowerView settings secured
- Warranty packet presented
- Remaining balance, if any, collected
Post Installation
- Your Custom Blinds’ Designer will follow-up to ensure your new window treatments look perfect and work great
- Enjoy your new window treatments, write an online review, and tell your friends about your experience!
- Questions or concerns? Remember, we offer free in-home service calls within the first year of installation

Measure.
Then, we get precise measurements and observe the layout of the room. It’s not just about the sizing. We’ll look at the big picture, including the room’s natural light. We want to prevent any problems that get in the way of picture-perfect results.
Install.
Our certified Hunter Douglas installers put up your window coverings several days after they arrive at our shop. While we can’t control the date that the blinds are shipped, we can be sure we’re ready to install them quickly — 3-5 days after they arrive!
